Moira Monney, translation consultant, owns and operates johnson communications, which specialises in German to English transcreations and translations in the PR, marketing and corporate communications fields. Moira started out in the industry in 2007, working part-time as a French and English to German translator and proofreader. A graduate of Sorbonne Nouvelle University, Paris, she holds a degree in Foreign Languages applied to Economics and Law. She has also earned a Professional Certificate in Management from the Open University. As Marketing Executive and later Key Account Manager at Storck Travel Retail Ltd., Moira has gained practical insight into brand strategy, international marketing and corporate communications, and was actively involved in planning and implementing shopper marketing activities.
